I had a great conversation with Kathy as we discussed Where her passion lies and it began with Blazin Curves but it ignited a flame while she was Raising Brit!
Kathy Blaze Jefferson born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. She is the founder of Blazing Curves and Blaze Image Consulting & Concierge., Actress and plus-size model.
She started her career off in the healthcare industry in Outpatient clinics as an Office Manager; she later transferred to the corporate world in Information Technology until she ended her time with the corporate world and became a full-time entrepreneur as the founder of Blazing Curves and Blaze Image Consulting & Concierge.
Kathy is an advocate for the empowerment and educating of women and men to love themselves no matter their size. In 2009 she founded Blazing Curves a plus-size modeling company. She’s been building something amazing here in Arizona that many in the fashion industry believe there's no market for and that's a fashion industry for the plus-size community. Her mission is to uplift positive body images, individual self-esteem and bring awareness to size discrimination and bullying of individuals because they don’t fit into the status quo. Kathy is also a strong advocate for the special needs community.
She has co-authored 2 books Empowering Women to Succeed, Triumph over Tragedy and From Us For You. In 2017 she created two entities to add to the Blaze brand; The Blaze Image Consulting & Concierge and Blazing Curves Health & Wellness Expo were established to bring forth the health and Image elements to her brand to ensure that she is taking care of the whole woman.
However, her most important role is that of a mother to her daughter Brittney.
