Today’s guest is Tyler Bastian. He’s the principal at Roots, a farm-based high school in Utah, where he promotes positive and loving education for all students. There, the students experience the full cycles of nature from birth to life to death as they care for the plants and animals that in turn provide their nourishment. It’s beautiful that they are reconnecting with nature and our food, which so many of us have lost connection with. One of their core principles resides in the numbers 243, which mean we love you. At every point in the school 243 is visible, which reminds every student that they are loved. At the school they base everything they do around the foundation of love and acceptance.
