Description

I interviewed Jacqueline Mallais, a former international teacher and current International Teacher Consultant at JP Mint. Consulting. Jacqueline is originally from Canada and has taught in Korea, Turkey, Oman, China, and Mexico. She has a wide range of experience in many different international schools and is using her expertise to help guide other teachers who are looking to teach abroad. She talks about the many benefits that come with international teaching. Jacqueline was teaching in China at the beginning of the pandemic and made the decision to leave, and with borders closed she was not able to return. She says that "The pandemic brought me to Mexico and started my consultant business. It's a full circle of paying it forward." Since this was recorded on Super Bowl Sunday, we also talk about rooting for the Eagles!
