Our guest today is MJ Nixon, CEO of the ministry Rainbow Revival. Join us as we hear her story of growing up in a Christian home, but somehow always feeling different. This feeling would grow, and MJ would begin to experiment with a lesbian lifestyle throughout college. As she continued with the lifestyle, MJ would become involved in a relationship with another woman for several years. However, MJ shares that she always felt the spiritual battle on the inside. Deep down, she knew that she was not walking in who God had called her to be. Then, one day while driving MJ would have an encounter with Jesus that would change her life.
Be filled with hope at the courage of MJ's conviction of God's love that empowered her to walk into a new relationship with Jesus in the face of pain and relational loss.
Today MJ's ministry (Rainbow Revival) reaches back out with the gospel and God's love, to the LGBT community. They do marches and events in parks with a heart to share the gospel, love the LGBT community and bring a place of connection for people. So far they’ve seen many people come to faith and be baptized!
