Wendy is a case manager at Rising Above Peterborough, a local not-for-profit Christian organization here in Ontario, that supports struggling individuals. The program focuses on breaking cycles of defeat and addiction, teaching them life skills and helping them find freedom in Jesus. Come along on the journey as Wendy shares how at 17 she was exposed to the gangs of NY, through YWAM and it became a huge catalyst in her life propelling her to reach out to those who are hurting. We loved this raw conversation about need, family, real life and how Jesus enters into the midst of it all.
