God gave Abram a promise that he would bless him and make his name great and that he would be a blessing, He told him that he would be the father of many nations, but before this would happen, God would have to change Abram's name to Abraham, Father of many nations, In essence he was telling Abraham to declare what God would do in his life before he even saw it.
Abraham started calling those things that be not as though they were.
You and I are made in the image of God, as imitators of God we are to do the same, God did nothing in this world until he spoke it.
It's time to speak things into existence.
