According to the King James Version of the Holy Bible, the reason for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was rooted in the clash between His teachings and identity with the religious and political authorities of his time. Jesus challenged the established religious norms and practices, advocating for a deeper spiritual understanding and a direct relationship with God through Him. His “radical” teachings threatened the power structures of the Pharisees and Sadducees leaders and posed a potential challenge to the Roman rule in Judea. Consequently, they saw Him as a threat to their authority and influence. The events leading to His crucifixion, including His arrest, trial, and eventual condemnation, were orchestrated by those who sought to maintain control and suppress His message of love, forgiveness, and redemption.

The Fifth Commandment explicitly states, "Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee" (Exodus 20:12, KJV). This commandment underscores the importance of respecting and revering one's parents. The Bible also warns that failing to honor one's parents can have serious consequences, as seen in Proverbs 20:20, which states, "Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness" (KJV). Thus, it can be understood that God does not look favorably upon those who dishonor their parents, as honoring them is seen as a fundamental aspect of leading a righteous and blessed life.
