Patrick "Paddy" Danen is now a non-player member of the SNC Basketball team, who is transitioning to the baseball team to become a pitcher for the Green Knights. Patrick is also a 2-time Gold Medalist with the USA Deaf Basketball Team whose selfless personality resonates with many members of the Saint Norbert College Community. Paddy has been through a lot in this life, which he discusses at length in this interview, of being deaf in both ears after a meningitis diagnosis at just 6 months old, as well as atrial fibrillation, which has cut into his basketball career. Nonetheless, Danen utilizes an outgoing personality, as well as a positive outlook in life to inspire those around him.
