What I really enjoyed about my conversation with Dorie was that she was just so comfortable with herself. She showed up relaxed and ready to go. It felt so natural talking to her. What I noticed was how seeing a recruiter from Harvard Divinity School informed her as an executive coach and in all the roles she's succeeded in during her career. It must have been exciting to explore that route and see where it took her. She’s done so many different things in her career, but everything seems so interconnected and transferable. The path from one role to the next feels so natural, and she has gained her reputation for a reason. Dorie knows how to build those relationships that get her from one place to the next. Her way of bundling together experiences and expertise really can create a lot of momentum, and it’s amazing to see her help other people build that for themselves. I love her persistence, she doesn’t back away from fear, and she pivots in ways that are aligned with her. There are a lot of lessons to be learned from her.
