I met Rich through a mutual friend and mentor, Mark Green. Rich is a great student and teacher, always learning and sharing new ideas. Through travel and new experiences, Rich has stayed on the edge of learning and growing. Rich also pushes barriers. Whether it’s honing new skills, or picking up his entire life and moving cross-country, every risk he’s taken has its rewards with hard work. Rich snowballs his knowledge. Once he got his feet wet in the automation world he took ownership and became a leader. He then used that mental infrastructure to build bigger and better businesses. I also took away from our conversation a lesson on how outsourcing can be a valuable resource if done properly. Every step Rich takes is calculated, but he never misses an opportunity to take a risk. Outsourcing certain aspects of his work allows him to excel at what he does best. I really enjoyed sharing this special conversation with Rich.
