Description

I feel fortunate to have gotten to spend a lot of time with Nick. I’m so impressed by just how relaxed and comfortable in his own skin Nick is. He’s someone I really think the world of. A couple of things I took away from our conversation: Nick has found fulfillment by transitioning from grinding for his business into volunteering his time to causes he cares about, like entrepreneurial groups, being an advisor, and being on a school board. This gave him the opportunity to take learnings from each project he participated in. We also talked about how the entrepreneurial mindset is not limited to entrepreneurs, but that anyone who looks at something and thinks about how they can shape or build it can utilize this mentality for growth. Finally, Nick approaches volunteering from an interpersonal perspective. He believes that people gain more from the sheer fact that someone shows up for support, not because they say something smart. Nick is someone I think very highly of, and I’m excited to continue to follow him as he grows and thrives.
