Episode 16: Keiosha “Red” Felix — Duson, LA
What would you do if a teenage mom vanished from a family visit — and years of leads led nowhere?
Episode Summary
Keiosha “Red” Felix was a 15‑year‑old mother living in a Louisiana group home because her own mother was incarcerated. In April 2012, she received a weekend pass to visit her aunt in Duson and confided that her aunt’s boyfriend had molested her. Days later, she left the house and never returned; her phone and social media went dark. A flurry of arrests followed, but investigative missteps and the firing of the lead detective caused all charges to be dropped. Thirteen years on, Keiosha is still missing, her daughter is in state care, and tips have taken investigators across the country without resolution.
If you or anyone you know has information on the disappearance of Keiosha “Red” Felix on April 30, 2012, please contact the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 232‑9211 or the FBI. A $5 000 reward is still available.
