On a Sunday night in November of 1998, a lone employee at a video rental store in Laurel, Montana was attacked and killed during a robbery. The case would go unsolved for almost 20 years when a man walked into the nearby Sheriff's office and confessed to killing Miranda Fenner. Due to a high number of false confession, investigators did not believe him at first and the suspect had to come back a second time to convince them that he was responsible. The suspect would end up to confessing to a similar crime where the victim survived and he would eventually plea guilty to his crimes in 2019. Listen along as we discuss the case of Miranda Fenner.
