Y'all! Episode 48 is in your earholes! Thank you for popping back in for today's stories, where Bailey is first with the completely pointless murder of Tina Marcotte. Tina deserved so much better than her killer did by her. He was a useless loser with a stupid lie of an alibi, and there was no way he was ever going to get away with it. But you don't want to miss how he solved THAT problem. It's gross, but in this situation, he deserved what he got.
And then Beth has a different kind of survivor story. The murder attempt turned into a race against time to save the victim, who lost 2/3 of herself. Today's survivor is 600 years old, has seen more history than most of us combined, and the reason this victim was attacked was for the most pathetic of reasons. Listen to how a guy confessed at his methadone clinic to being the person who nearly killed the Austin Treaty Oak, which has been part of Texas history since before there was a USA. There's more to this story than you might think.
