When today's show began, House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries was at the podium in the House Chamber, giving a speech that is supposed to talk supporters of the Big Beautiful Bill NOT to support the passage in the upcoming vote to do so. Throughout the show, we monitored the status. Jeffries, who took the podium to begin his speech at 5:30 Eastern this morning, is still at the podium seven hours later!
