Bob continues the conversation that was started yesterday with the Rev. Dr. timothy Gahles. A story found in much of the intellectually bankrupt media appeared over the past weekend. The headline as seen in Yahoo News warned “A Major Spike in Coronavirus Cases at California Mega Church.” To read that headline you would think it is the end of the world, and this church is now a deadly super-spreader of a magic virus that never infects people in airliners or protests, but only at certain gatherings, like churches. To put it in perspective, Grace Community Church has had between 6000 and 7000 people attending each Sunday since July. Buried in the story is the fact that it is a total of 3 “cases” (or positive tests) in the past 14 days. It does not even state if they got the virus at the church, or if these are asymptomatic cases. No word on hospitalizations or potential deaths.
