On the Thursday edition of the program, Bob shares his thoughts about a recent pronouncement about the effectiveness of wearing a facemask or face covering. As if on perfect cue, we hear of “recent studies” showing a facemask now suddenly protects the wearer too! After months of shaming people with the narrative “My mask protects you, and your mask protects me” suddenly the mask is the magic bullet to stop the spread of COVID-19. How convenient this study, when one Presidential candidate has been talking about “mandatory mask wearing.” Considering these same experts have been wrong more than they have been right, what are we to believe?
