Purposefully bad production and story quality. This show is the perfect parody of hospital dramas mixed with 80's horror comedy.
It's like a British Cronenberg mixed with General Hospital. Technically speaking I don't think it was ever cancelled because I don't think there was ever the intention to have more than what we got.
