When considering reading Tarot cards we have to consider the Aces. Like in Playing Cards, Aces represent 1, or the first card in the suite. Aces have a different power and responsibility to the suite. The Ace would be assumed to be the lowest, yet it is the highest.
Aces in the Tarot are illustrated as a hand reaching out holding the symbol of the suite. This hand is the Universe, Deities, or Ancestors. It points to the highest power, or highest order. They represent altogether as some sort of divine intervention to the situation. Aces are the gateway between the spirit world and the physical one.
