Eddie Claypool is an outdoor writer and bowhunter who specializes in DIY public-land hunting. He has nearly 50 years of bowhunting experience and has harvested more than 80 Pope and Young-caliber animals. Claypool has been pursuing DIY hunts and animals across the country since the late 1970s. He has lived through the whitetail hunting heyday in the Midwest and has hunted the best of the West for almost 40 years.
