Description

Vancouver Police are beefing up oversight and patrols around the city following Saturday’s U.S. air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. The VPD says officers will be deployed to popular protest sites and certain places of worship, community centres and diplomatic buildings. In a media statement, the department says while conflicts in the Middle East are thousands of kilometres away, they reverberate in Vancouver’s [sic] diverse community and impact many people’s sense of security.
