The Abbotsford Canucks are the 2025 Calder Cup champions. Abbotsford defeated the Charlotte Checkers 3-2 in game six of the final. The win for the Vancouver Canucks affiliate marks several firsts. It’s the team’s first AHL cup and the first time a B.C. pro hockey team has won a championship since the Victoria Cougars won the Stanley Cup in 1925.
