You won’t be able to buy any American-made booze in B.C.’s government liquor stories. Premier David Eby says the BCLDB has stopped purchasing American beer, wine and spirits. The stores have also removed all existing stock from the shelves. It’s the latest counter response to Donald Trump’s on-again-off-again tariffs on Canadian goods. Eby claims British Columbians don’t even want to see those American products on the shelves anymore.
