Canada Post will likely be hit by a strike on Friday. The Crown corporation says its received notice from the Canadian Union of Postal Workers the 55,000 members will be on strike exactly when their current contract expires. On Friday, a government-commissioned report said the post office should phase-out daily door-to-door delivery. That recommendation has been blasted by CUP-W. This would be the second strike at Canada Post in less than a year.
