Former Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson has been tapped the new federal housing minister. Robertson is one of two dozen rookie MPs appointed to a small federal Cabinet under Prime Minister Mark Carney. The Vancouver Fairview-Burnaby South MP will also oversee Pacific Economic Development Canada. Carney has named five B.C. MPs to new portfolios - the most from this province under a Liberal Prime Minister since Paul Martin.
