In this episode we begin to consider animal sacrifice and the many pieces that play into a proper understanding of this practice in the Old Testament and beyond. We consider the idea of progressive revelation and the moral and logical aspects of destroying one part of G-d’s creation in order to enhance or improve another part of G-d’s creation. We end with mentioning the OT prophets and their consistent message standing up against animal sacrifice.
