Dec 21, 2021 is a day many in the Unguwan Gwari community in Kaduna will never forget. More than 20 of its inhabitants have been carted away by ransom seeking terrorists. The nightmarish ordeal extends through the holiday period from Christmas to New Years, leaving family members worried and hopeless, as they scramble to meet the bandits’ demands. What happens next will change the fate of this community forever.
