They discuss the lesser known story of northern residential schools, conducting oral history with survivors, and the Gwich'in concepts of individual and collective strength. They also chat about the significance of the Inuvik's school construction in 1959, the resistance to the system from students and their communities, and the legacy of residential schooling across the region.
