Ashley is a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Arizona. In college, she competed at the University of Oklahoma on the Track and Field team. Ashley speaks about how being an athlete has shaped the coach she is now. We discuss the importance of using who we know to our advantage. When athletics is over, how does that sense of autonomy define us? Who are we when no one is there to push us? Like other guests have shared, Ashley explains how necessary it is to find your tribe. There is value in people who can speak into your life. During this conversation, the “Job triangle” (something I had never heard of) comes up, and it is defined as location, vocation, and pay. Finally, we discuss what separates the good from the great and the importance in consistency and its tie to achievements over time.
