Veronica Alvarez is a pioneer and an absolute trailblazer for women in sports. She joins us and educates us on the sport of baseball, shares her background playing baseball and softball, and gives us an overview of how she got into the coaching career she is in now. Veronica is the current manager of Team USA Women’s Baseball as well as the Coordinator of player development for the Latin American Program for the Oakland A’s. We talk about knowing your why and figuring out what opportunities to say yes to and which opportunities may be a better fit for someone else. Veronica shares her story and provides us with some of the lessons she has learned along the way.
