In this episode, I speak with the amazing Karen Egan.
Karen is the Senior Vice President of Global Support for VMware. She's based in Cork, Ireland where she lives with her family and has been with VMware since 2009 when she started out as a Senior Support Manager.
Karen assumed her current role as SVP of Global Support in February 2021.
Prior to this, she served as VP of Advanced Customer Engagement. Egan joined VMware in April 2009 as a Senior Support Manager and held.
Karen has over 23 years of experience in the Software/IT industry with 18 years in Technical Support.
Her career started as a #software developer and since 1997 she has worked for American Corporations including Apple, Motorola , and VMware.
Karen has held many roles within VMware Global Services and today is responsible for global support of new/strategic products, all customer escalations, and customer success for VMware’s on-premise solutions.
She leads an outstanding team of experts that is pivotal in @VMware's customer satisfaction and is an amazing role model to us all.
