BlackTooth Publishing is focused on giving creators a platform to express themselves unapologetically through literature. Omari Malik was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Like any great superhero story, Malik’s story is one of both tragedy and triumph. After losing his father at 7 years old, Malik turned comic books and music as an outlet. At 17 years old, Malik moved to New York City to attend college with less than $200 to his name. Through prayer and perseverance, Malik graduated with both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree. Shortly after graduating, Malik entered corporate America and worked as an insurance broker, but was unsatisfied. This lack of fulfillment led to Malik founding BlackTooth Publishing and pursuing a career as a writer.
