We are kicking off our new series: Written in Stone! We are going to be going over the ten commandments listed in Exodus 20. This week, Ryan is starting with the first two commandments. He brings up three points:

1. What is the significance of God reminding the Israelite people that He rescued them from Egyptian slavery? Why might He do that before sharing the 10 Commandments with them?
2. Have you ever had a conversation with someone who claims to love Jesus, but has a much different understanding of Jesus than you? How did you respond?
3. What kind of rewards does God offer to those who love him and obey his commands in Exodus 20:6? In what ways does this motivate you to pursue a deeper relationship with Him?
