Description

In this episode, Teagan first discusses a bit about her podcast before diving into the history of her swimming career. She shares her highs and lows of the sport from her earliest memories of competing at 10 years old leading up to her most recent races- including disqualifying in the 400 IM at Junior Nationals! After a long story time, Teagan unpacks what it takes to overcome adversity in a sport, as she shares the tools and reflections that helped her gain back confidence in the pool again as well as find her true self and happiness again. She hopes that you can appreciate her vulnerability in sharing a difficult time period in her life, and hopefully relate and apply her advice to overcoming hardship in not just athletics, but your life.

If this episode does not interest or apply to you as a listener, or if you are not an athlete or do not believe you will relate: please consider listening to at least the first 10 minutes for a little podcast update! Further, consider skipping through to more of the end where Teagan covers more broad points that apply outside an athletes life that you can hopefully benefit from.
