The Friends of Fort Malden is a non profit organization that works in partnership with Parks Canada to help preserve Fort Malden.
With their fundraising, they are able to employ youths throughout the summer. These kids learn all about the history and participate in demonstrations. Dressed in formal attire they get to show off muskets and so much more.
Thanks to all the fundraising and hard work Friends of Fort Malden does, we are able to keep our wonderful part of history in Amherstburg, Ontario going, demonstrating the life, culture and how people lived back when Fort Malden was a working Fort.
