Friendships, like Candide & Cacambo, David & Johnathan, Raoul Duke & Dr Gonzo serves as the solid ground for our weary feet. Adversaries, like Brutus & Caesar, or Othello & Iago, like Ahab & The Great Whale or Santiago and the Great Marlin, push us to the very limits of our will and our sanity. The Jungles of Cambodia, or the icy plains of Alaska, or, perhaps, the savannah of mother Africa would make for a more safe environment than the pit of vipers that is Soho, London.
