PUDCRUST NOOTS
WHAT WE’VE BEEN...
- WATCHING/Reading
- Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
- Better than it needed to be, not just cheap marketing material for the game
- Studio Trigger’s distinct style fits perfectly
- Distinct cast of characters that are all easy to love, cameos and easter eggs abound
- Deals with the classic dystopian themes, being a gifted kid, striving for fame, and the eventually breakdown all can lead to
- Minor themes also explored (but won’t dive into this for time)
- Stuff from the anime (predictably) made its way into the game
- Andor (If we both watched it)
- Takes place 5 BBY
- Andor looking for his sister, murders two corpo guards
- Wound tight corpo guy is pushing everyone under him to find the murder, leads some kind of corpo SWAT
- Flashbacks scenes on Kenari, language isn’t translated
- Ship crashed on Kenari, something Imperial/Republic carrying something toxic
- Andor takes what he needs, doesn’t really give anything back
- Explores a darker side of Star Wars
- Shulky/Just Jen
- PLAYING
- Cyberpunk after update 1.5 isn’t a totally broken mess (sometimes) (aslo hit 1 million daily players)
- DREAMLIGHT FUCKING VALLEY & ANIME
