Description

"Life was just a different life after that point. I think I'm just a person that kind of rolls with the punches" Growing from a  very large family and with inevitable changes, one has to be resilient.

Today on the show, Asha and Keshiia welcome the dynamo, an open book, an advocate, and an overwhelmingly kind and humble human being, Kristin Hopkins.  She was most recently a contestant on Season 25 of The Bachelor, featuring the first Black Bachelor.

In this interview, Kristin gives a glimpse of her childhood, her close relationships with the family, struggles during her teenage years, especially about her experience with being a black teen, her desire to become a lawyer, and her advocacies. Her struggle with  lack of examples of lawyers in her immediate family and surrounding, makes her learning curve so steep.

Throughout this exchange, you will truly be inspired in developing confidence despite being different, motivations coming from a loved one, and finding their footing and stride in school and in society as a whole.
