Description

Meet Bridget is back for our first one-on-one episode of the season. We thought we'd kick it off with a discussion on body image since we both recently had a baby. We felt inspired to dedicate this episode to the journey of how we relate to our bodies over time.

Today, we're going through what body image is and the topics all around it. People are always talking about what other people look like, especially women. There's just such a crazy fixation on the changes in women's bodies. So we thought, why not talk about it with our community? As we grow and mature, it is important to realize that we are not staying a certain way forever.

As women, whether we bear children or not, our bodies grow, bloom, transform, and change with hormones and age. Personally, this is something that has been part of our struggles from the very beginning of our lives. Because we've gone through so many recent changes, we know this is a conversation that continues to be relevant in any state of a woman's life.

Disclaimer: We will be candidly discussing issues including body dysmorphia, eating disorders, depression, thyroid cancer, pregnancy, and pregnancy loss. Should any of these things be triggering to you at this time, please feel free to sit this episode out or see our show notes for helpful resources.

We also recommend you relisten to our episode with Lara Reaves Mofidi, Eating Disorder Coach and Holistic Nutritionist
