UK-based Luyanda Lewis-Nyawo (they/them) returns as Deputy Ritchie Santiago in Netflix’s supernatural mystery comedy “Wednesday”. Their character portrays the deputy of Jericho's police department, working alongside Sheriff Donovan Galpin (Jamie McShane). The highly anticipated second season will be released in two parts, with Part 1 premiering August 6, 2025, and Part 2 following September 3, 2025. 

 

Season 2 continues the story of Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) as she embarks on a mission to save her roommate, Enid (Emma Myers), from impending doom, all while developing her psychic abilities and facing a new tormentor.

 

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, during the final years of apartheid, Luyanda was raised in Port Elizabeth and the small town of Kinross, Mpumalanga. Their passion for acting began when they played Baloo in a primary school production of The Jungle Book. Their credits include Netflix’s Back in Action & Top Boy, Prime Video’s How to Date Bill Walsh, and the Doctor Who universe, amongst others.
