I was a voice teacher for three weeks and found it scary and terrifying and ended up quitting. Teachers are underpaid and under appreciated. Today, I am talking to teachers and those who love teachers. Next week is teacher appreciation week, and I want to talk about the job that every girl at my high school wanted except for me. - [02:21] Being a teacher is a job of purpose. It's no mistake. There is nothing that God hasn't thought out, and you are a teacher because you are supposed to be.

- [04:35] If you read Ecclesiastes, you will see that you have spent your time teaching and preparing to teach, because it is what you are supposed to be doing.

- [11:08] In 2009, we had just moved to Lufkin, Texas. Remy had just started kindergarten.
- [11:43] This was a tough year for us, and Remy had to hear a lot of yelling during this year.
- [12:17] Remy's teacher was a constant in a pretty unconstant world.
- [13:16] How God loves children and will do whatever it takes to make sure that they are surrounded by the constant.
- [13:24] Children need to be surrounded by the love during the day, especially, if they are not surrounded by the love at night.
- [14:07] You might be the favorite teacher of the town's next mayor. You might be the bright spot in that future surgeon's day.
- [14:30] Teachers have a selfless job, because they have to help these children find their purpose.
