Famed illustrator and art collector Samuel Putnam Avery edited a collection of humor in 1854 called 'Mrs. Partington's Carpet-Bag of Fun.'
We are wrapping up a week of very short, fun stories about kissing from that book, with FIVE pieces - - 'A Kiss in the Dark' 'Barking Up the Wrong Tree' 'An Ecstatic Lover' 'A Smacking Article' and 'Improved Cookery.'
