As you assess the most pressing conflict situations in your life, are you caught or taught in the cycle of conflict? In his attempt to lead the people of Israel three thousand years ago, King Solomon faced the inevitable conflict that came with his position. So when God offered Solomon the opportunity to ask for anything from Him, Solomon requested wisdom (see 1 Kings 3:5-15). This week, we'll examine the wisdom God provided Solomon in his first recorded decision, and see how conflict is either positive or negative when two objects attempt to occupy the same space at the same time.
