My friend Joanna, originally from Hamburg, Germany, is the guest for this Cultural Exchange. Joanna, and I met in Berlin, through mutual friends, and hit it off from the start. We sat down last spring to talk about what it was like growing up in Hamburg, her experience being in a Polish/German family, and how her time living abroad has changed how she sees the world.
