In this episode of the Hello Lovely Podcast, I celebrate a big milestone — officially being employed by myself. After about two years of building my business, learning, failing, getting back up, and staying consistent, I’ve reached a point where this work is my full-time focus. It hasn’t been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding, and there’s a lot to celebrate.
That milestone leads perfectly into today’s topic: priorities and why having clarity around them creates confidence.
Many women say they already know their priorities. But what often happens is we acknowledge them in our minds — things like spiritual life, family, or relationships — and then move forward without clearly defining what those priorities actually look like in daily life.
There’s a huge difference between knowing something is important and deciding how you want to show up for it.
When your priorities are clearly defined, it becomes much easier to make decisions. Instead of feeling pressure around what you should or shouldn’t do, you’re able to move forward with a clear mind and heart because you already know what matters most to you.
In this episode, I walk through a simple process for getting clear on your priorities. That includes writing down what your top priorities are, defining what actions support them, and identifying what is completely off-limits because it doesn’t align with what matters most to you.
Another important shift is recognizing that the priorities you choose are things you want to do, not things you have to do. When you move from pressure to responsibility and appreciation, everything changes.
When your priorities are clear and chosen intentionally, you can make decisions confidently and fully enjoy your life experience while staying aligned with what matters most to you.
