What is a Life Coach?

In this episode of the Hello Lovely Podcast, we talk about what a life coach is and how coaching works.

Life coaching has been around for a long time, and it’s becoming more popular. A common question is: what is a life coach?

A life coach helps you reach a specific result you want to create. Coaches work with clients on many different goals, but what they have in common is helping people create results.

A coach helps you see patterns in your thinking that may be keeping you stuck. They support you in understanding what you can control and how to move forward.

Coaching is a partnership. A coach has your back, but they cannot do the work for you. You are the one creating the change. That’s what makes coaching powerful — you see yourself change habits you once thought were unchangeable or out of your control.

In this episode, I share how I work with women in two main areas: emotional health and reaching goals.

These two go hand in hand. You may come in wanting to reach a goal, but if you feel overwhelmed emotionally, it can be hard to stay consistent. As you work on your goals, you also build a better relationship with yourself.

The same happens the other way around. When you improve your emotional health, you often gain more clarity, energy, and focus, which naturally leads to setting and reaching goals.

Coaching helps you understand your thinking, process your emotions, and move forward with intention. As a result, you feel more confident, less stuck, and more in control of your life.
