Description

Navan Ward serves as founder and lead attorney at Beasley Allen’s Atlanta office, specializing in defective medical devices litigation and pharmaceutical mass torts. Holding licensure across four states, Navan holds a Martindale Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating and has been recognized in the top 500 attorneys nationally by Lawdragon. Beasley Allen reports that with over 20 years litigating in multiple areas, Navan has obtained more than $360 million total for clients. 

A star mass torts litigator with decades of experience, Navan serves as Immediate Past President of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), only the second minority figure to hold the position. Navan has spent many years working with AAJ which first honored him with its 2017 Minority Caucus Stalwart Award. 

During his presidency, Navan worked on significant legislative and other issues affecting the plaintiff’s bar across the country. During this time he also aided in founding “Shades of Mass,” a group that advocates and facilitates the appointment of minorities to leadership roles in federal and state-based centralized civil actions, including federal MDLs, and currently serves on their Executive Committee. 

Navan also sits on the National Black Lawyers Top 100 Executive Committee, with past leadership experience in Alabama Lawyers Association, the Alabama State Bar’s Young Lawyers Section, and the Montgomery County Association for Justice.
