More than a decade after appearing on The Mickey Mouse Club, relative unknown Ryan Gosling burst onto the scene with 2007's biggest guy-orders-a-sex-doll-but-acts-like-it's-his-girlfriend movie. In Episode 41 of Multiplex Time Machine, we're looking at Lars and the Real Girl, originally released on October 12, 2007.
Lars and the Real Girl was directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Nancy Oliver, and starred Ryan Gosling, Emily Mortimer, Paul Schneider, Kelli Garner, and Patricia Clarkson.
