Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb were the sons of two extremely wealthy families living in Chicago. On top of that the boys were incredibly intelligent and assumed by most to have a bright future ahead of them. Nobody could have possibly known that Nathan and Richard not only harbored obsessive thoughts of superiority, but that they were ready to commit murder just to prove that they could.
