How was 2019 for you?
At the close of the year, what were you grateful for? What have you learnt? What do you feel as though you have survived? What will you take with you as you look to the year ahead?
The prophets are good at reminding the people of both the promises of God and the valuable lessons of past experience rightly understood.
It is useful to re-collect the past and re-member it... put it back together and make sense of it in a way that is not possible at the time when the events are taking place.
